The rug design is inspired by the spectrum of sand shades along the shoreline of Victoria’s Bellarine and Mornington Peninsulas, Aqueous Sand brings coastal neutral tones and soft luxurious textures ideal for the living or bedroom.
“There’s nothing like the sandy beaches of Australia. Be it soft, golden, powdery sands to sink into ankle-deep… smooth, ocean worn pebbles… that damp, densely packed sand perfect for a game of beach cricket… the thrilling allure of crushed shells underfoot… the indescribable feeling of the cool water rushing your legs after running across the burning hot sand… collecting shells… exploring the dunes… watching the surf… sun bleached drift wood, grey clouds gathering over the bay bringing relief from the heat. Inspired by the endless, magical sands of our wide brown land, this is one of two new AQUEOUS rugs I have designed for The Rug Collection.” Designer Katie McKinnon.
Rugs may vary slightly in colour due to the differences in computer displays.

FRAMING YOUR ARTWORK
Framing protects and provides support to a painting, allows it to hang more easily, and both defines and connects the painting with its environment. We love the look and feel of natural Tasmanian oak - in a floating frame for paintings on canvas, and with glass or perspex for prints on fine art paper. Find a local custom framer.
